"My daughter, 3 year old granddaughter and I went for a quick mini vacation. The location was great! Super easy and convenient to walk to the beach and to all the shops. We loved that our room was above the parking garage as we did not have to worry about any below us being bothered by my granddaughter running around. The staff was super nice and welcoming. My negatives are that there is no upper latch/lock on the door so my granddaughter kept opening and running down the hall. I could not sleep as I was worried about her getting out. Floor is squeaky but definitely not bad enough that we would not stay there again. Shower is a bit small but again, that did not bother us since we were loving staying there. Before we left we looked at the hotel online and it did not mention a hot tub, we even looked a few times. We did not bring swimsuits and sure enough there was a hot tub. This definitely needs to be added to the description on Expedia. Keep in mind that everything is more expensive in Tahoe, especially food, but if you drive down the road for a couple of hours, you can more reasonably priced food. We really enjoyed the great service and food we got at iHOP. In conclusion, I definitely recommend this hotel and we will definitely be staying there again."

"Upon arrival, we got to our destination earlier that expected and the front desk receptionist gave us the opportunity of early check in. To our surprise, we had an excellent view of Lake Tahoe and the surrounding mountains with snow. It was an amazing view while having our hot chocolate in our room as snow flurries fell. The room was cozy an invited you to want to say indoors at times. The diverse atmosphere of bars, with live music and interactive experiences of friendly crowds was so much fun! The slot machines were fun to play with the option of leading into a sister casino through a tunnel and never having to wear your jacket to stay warm was convenient for us. In addition, all staff, including Shuttle drivers, at the Harrah’s were friendly, helpful and attentive Thank you Harrah’s for an AMAZING experience and would love to come back sometime in the not to far future! "

"My navigation kinda got me to the wrong spot initially but then figured out where the office was (a bit hard to discern in the dark). Large spacious room, waking distance to restaurants and the lake is right there. I’d stay here again next time in south lake. Library next door had a free charger available for electric cars. "
