"Room was spacious and clean. The continental breakfast was nothing special…so don’t choose this hotel because of the breakfast. It was conveniently located off the highway, but still quiet. I would stay again if I needed the area."

She said she was familiar with the guys in the room and would talk to them. She did and they were quiet. The walls are very thin in the rooms, you can hear what everyone on each side of you is doing and saying. It needs insulation. It would be nice if they served a continental breakfast. "This hotel is a real piece of history and is decorated and furnished accordingly, so don't expect king sized modern beds and air conditioning. However, if , like me, you appreciate people taking the effort to give you an unforgettable experience of how things used to be, this is the place. The town itself is a lovely reminder of what the Gold Country was like in the late 1800s with lots of old buildings along a main street. "Stayed in ADA room, however the roll-in shower needed a grab bar on the outside. I did not feel safe exiting shower. We appreciated the fact that we could access our room from the outside, but there were 2 very dangerous steps and ramp access was to far away. It was extremely painful getting up the steps, but it was still preferable to the long painful walk."
