"Perfect place and price for a modern, compact room to visit family for the holidays. Not much time spent in the room but it was clean and comfortable. Desk staff was very polite and helpful when needed and instructions for late self check in and using the mobile app for room keys was very clear and simple."

"The location near Grand Central Station is convenient, but the hotel itself is in desperate need of upgrades and amenities. For the price (which was nearly $400 per night per room), we should have at least had a mini fridge and better storage. Daily maid service was missing, too. Room better than expected , except walls just need cleaning don’t look like it’s been scrubbed down , you can always hear your neighbors if they are doing the do so there’s that . "Overall, excellent stay. Close to pretty much everything from Times Square to Macy's to theaters, subway, all kinds of restaurants, etc. I loved that the hotel was modern and clean. The staff actually does an excellent job keeping the hotel clean and they tend to your requests in a timely matter. The only thing I would change about this hotel is to probably have some type of security because anyone can come in the hotel without having access. A suggestion for increased security would possibly be to add having to scan your hotel key to access the elevator so that non-guests won't be able to go any further than the lobby. One other suggestion is to add the ability to utilize your external streaming devices on the tv in the hotel, ie: Firestick, Roku, etc. because it gets a little pricey paying to watch movies on the tv in the room. Other than that, Arlo is our go to hotel next time in New York. "
