"Look, California city sucks. There's nothing prestigious about it. But, if you're there and you need a place to stay? This place is solid. Its clean, its's quiet, the breakfast is good (they have meat), the staff are great and the rooms are a notch and a half over average. If you get lucky enough you can pick a pomegranate out of their bushes. "

"We like trains and this Hotels is near Depot Museum and freight train traffic. We were on the quite side of the hotel. Very nice breakfast."

"What I like about this hotel is they keep the pool heated all year long, and the jacuzzi is hot with great jets! Also they have a good breakfast in the morning with homemade breakfast burritos. Plus, it's a good price. "

"This is simply a clean, basic hotel. Comfortable bed. "Desert Winds" is an appropriate name...very, very windy on the night I was here. It is in Mojave, so I didn't expect a lot of food choices. Thai restaurant was good. I would stay here again for an overnight. "
