"The wonderful, friendly, helpful staff absolutely made this visit. The rooms are small but modernized and clean—if you’ve stayed in hotels in Europe you it will feel familiar. The lobby and bar / restaurant are gorgeous but the stairs and hallways are a bit worn down. Which can come with the territory in historic hotels so I didn’t really mind. Hotel is walking distance from so many things, including the BART which is literally around the corner. Overall delightful stay, made even better by the staff."

"Clean, safe, quiet hotel within walking distance of several restaurants and shopping. It’s a short drive to the amphitheater for concerts and the staff were helpful with how to navigate the area. The bar has a surprisingly affordable happy hour and the pool and gym were great too. "
