"The staff offered me a cup of tea as I was checking in. The room was spacious. The shower and tub area was great and included a rainfall shower too. The bed was comfortable. "I did book this hotel for two nights but decided to book another hotel for the replacement of the second night here. This is an older hotel. It is next to the Arashiyama Train station. Great location for being next to a quiet train station. The inside needs updating. Our room is non smoking but walking to the room it smelled strong of cigarette smoke.
