The bakery in the lobby was a quick easy way to grab a quick tasty bite before going out for the day. Rooftop bar was very nice. It’s located near the more traditional neighborhood , and was about a 20 minute very pleasant walk to the lively night life district / pontocho alley area. It was a short walk from Kiyomizu dera temple which was awesome to visit . Only downside was it was a bit far from Kyoto station, and with our bags, we opted to take a taxi every time we went to and from. There were some smaller metro stations close by but some of the larger ones to get to the big attractions we taxied to. Overall a small inconvenience and would still likely stay here again!!! "
