"My trip was made better by Mohammed at the front desk. He was friendly, welcoming, kind, and efficient. hotels.com had messed something up but Mohammed made it all work out. The room was small but clean and comfortable. There was a coffee maker and a mini fridge. I didn't need the fridge this trip because it was only overnight, but when I stay here again for a couple of days I will bring back leftovers. "Service and hotel was excellent. Food and drinks is very overpriced. For example: a breakfast of scrambled eggs, bacon, toast, hash browns and coffee is $55 per person. A bourbon Manhattan is $30. The hotel charges $40 per room per day which you get back in the form of a food and beverage use-it-or-lose-it credit. This encourages you to eat and drink at the hotel and pay the large food prices."

"The Chelsea Savoy is older but charming - loved the bagels and muffins included in our breakfast every morning - great coffee too! The staff was very prompt and friendly with our requests, as well. The Chelsea area where the Savoy is located is fantastic - loved the arts community and great family owned restaurants surrounding the Savoy, as well. Will definitely stay there again when we return to New York! "
