The New Yorker A Wyndham Hotel

8.2 out of 10, Very good, (4933)
"My trip was made better by Mohammed at the front desk. He was friendly, welcoming, kind, and efficient. hotels.com had messed something up but Mohammed made it all work out. The room was small but clean and comfortable. There was a coffee maker and a mini fridge. I didn't need the fridge this trip because it was only overnight, but when I stay here again for a couple of days I will bring back leftovers. The hotel is conveniently located near Penn Station and the subway. There are dozens...

The New Yorker A Wyndham Hotel

The Algonquin Hotel Times Square, Autograph Collection

4.0 star property
8.8 out of 10, Excellent, (1006)
"Service and hotel was excellent. Food and drinks is very overpriced. For example: a breakfast of scrambled eggs, bacon, toast, hash browns and coffee is $55 per person. A bourbon Manhattan is $30. The hotel charges $40 per room per day which you get back in the form of a food and beverage use-it-or-lose-it credit. This encourages you to eat and drink at the hotel and pay the large food prices."

The Evelyn Hotel

4.5 star property
9.0 out of 10, Wonderful, (1014)
"So many hotel options in NYC, glad we chose The Evelyn. We stayed over Christmas and the service and amenities were amazing. The free grab and go breakfast was very good as were the cocktails at the hotel lounge, Tusk. We didn't take advantage of the complementary wine hour or walking tours but they are nice perks. Our rooms were beautifully appointed and cozy and the cleaning staff came every day to tidy and replenish towels, etc. I would highly recommend The Evelyn for anyone traveling to NYC...
