"Friendly and helpful staff, clean and airy room, comfortable bed, and nice towels. The shower had excellent water pressure. They provide shampoo, conditioner and body wash, which all smelled nice. I would only suggest they oil the windows because the windows were a bit hard to slide open. The screens should be cleaned as well. Otherwise, it was super enjoyable and we will DEFINITELY return at our next visit 😊🐻"

"Honestly i was very anxious for my stay, i had seen that there were bad reviews but only after the fact that i already made reservations, surprisingly i had an awesome time, the manager was super nice and welcoming as well as all of the other employees, she did let me know of the warm water not working in the building i was staying in, none the less i wanted to stay in the room so id have a kitchen, the room exceeded my expectations, it was very clean, they had utensils, dish ware and cooking ware. the private water front was so beautiful especially at night. the balcony was a definite plus too. they did have complimentary breakfast with items like juice, coffee, cereal, breakfast bars and a few other things. my stay was very affordable. Although it’s mid summer in california the weather was perfect, unfortunately there was no ac, and as a person who gets very hot easily, i would say the ac was not needed, i’ll definitely be returning and would recommend checking this place out for your next stay up in big bear. there were many fun activities that i was able to do in my 2 night stay, there are many things that are at walking distance or a very short car ride away, id recommend going to the alpine slide, going out for a kayaking experience, and/or checking out a fun spot called gold rush mining adventure."
